Scisset development set to open three new show homes

THIS weekend brings the opportunity to explore three brand new show homes at Langley Grange, in Scissett. Open daily from Saturday (August 1), the three fully furnished properties will perfectly promote the latest phase of family homes in a semi-rural village location close to some outstanding schools.

Opening their doors at Langley Grange, off Pilling Lane, will be a luxurious three-bedroom Oxford Lifestyle and two detached four-bedroom designs, the Stratford and Shrewsbury.

“Our first set of show homes and previous phase are fully sold but we’ve still got lots to offer new homebuyers,” says Steve Jackson, sales director at Redrow Homes (Yorkshire).

“These three brand new show homes will give buyers a refreshed opportunity to see the diverse house styles available at Langley Grange. There are homes for everyone, including our ‘Lifestyle’ collection for buyers who may want fewer bedrooms but no compromise on space or style.

“Our new Oxford Lifestyle show home demonstrates this perfectly, it’s a three-bedroom home built on the footprint of a home that would normally have four bedrooms. It still has the same spacious living accommodation downstairs, while each of its three bedrooms is larger, more luxuriously appointed and has its own bathroom. The main bedroom also has a walk-through dressing room.”

All of the Langley Grange homes are from Redrow’s iconic Heritage Collection, inspired externally by popular Arts & Crafts architecture, with stylish, modern

Prices currently start from £224,950 for a three-bedroom mews-style Malvern, while a detached Oxford Lifestyle like the new show home is available from around £336,950.

Huddersfield, Barnsley and Wakefield are all within a 10-mile drive of Scissett and the beautiful Peak District is only a short drive away.

“Scissett is a rural village that provides the ideal setting for people looking to a raise a family. We’re building 200 new family homes in total and so far we have sold 35% so there is a fantastic community already created,” continues Steve.

The sales centre and show home are open to walk-in customers but Redrow recommends that people pre-book by telephone or through the website wherever possible.

“We’ve put a range of steps in place to ensure the safety of customers and our staff,” Redrow Yorkshire sales director Steve Jackson explains.

“These include asking visitors to wait in the designated area until invited in by the sales consultant. We’ve also installed hand sanitiser stations and rearranged our furniture and seating areas. Visitors are welcome to view the show home and will be given disposable gloves to wear during the tour.

Although our sales consultant won’t be able to accompany them around the property, there is plenty of signage within our show homes and consultants will also be able to use digital technology to show them the development and individual properties.”

The new show homes will be open daily 10am to 5.30pm from August 1, but for more information call 01484 829538 or visit
